All the Australians think it's getting chilly...

...here on the Gold Coast, but us hardy Cantabrians (or at least 2 of us hardy Cantabrians) are spending a lot of time in the water. We spent yesterday at White Water World and had a ball...although my head is still spinning and my body still rocking! We are staying at Treasure Island Holiday Park. It is like no other camping ground we've ever stayed at. Quite the canvas resort, although there isn't any canvas that I can see! We're heading north again tomorrow - one night in Maroochydore for the Lee Kernaghan concert in Nambour, then we are heading bush again. We figure we have 5 weeks to get as far north as we can and then two to get back down before our last week here again. I would love to load some photos on (I know I keep saying that) and as soon as I find a good spot to do it I will!

  3. Oh this is good! I see my name in print! Well guys I have said it all before (believe me) but you all sound like you are having the trip of a lifetime. So pleased you are no longer in Thailand! We have followed your movements with great interest and a lot of the places, or at least their names, in Australia are familiar to us. We will become regular posters now and will ensure that KA gets online too! Take care. Lots and lots more fun to be had! Love from the Trowbridges

  4. Hey there Caddies! We are up and running again. Just stepped into the 21st Century and got Broadband. Wow... so much more to waste time looking at now! But great to catch up on your goss. Mac's birthday went off well. He loves the gift by the way. We all biked round McLeans then watched a Surfing DVD before doing the typical Mckenzie - Sheat whanau sit round the smokey pot belly trick. I know, I know... I can sense the disappointment from here Gordy. But we can do it again when you get back. Too cold for surfing at the mo. We just have to watch it on the big screen. All is well with us. We are loving work...and winter...and...no we're not!
    Take care folks. Have fun!

  5. Hey Finn you need to come back, the skate park is getting boring! Well you know how my dad said he would make a workshop in the hut, well he made a workshop but not there he made it in the old bike shed and I've found heaps of old skateboard parts and my very first deck! But I'm not much into skateboarding any more it's probably just because my deck's not very good oh well. You Know how I had those abec 7 bearings I put them on my wave board and two on the front of my scooter and typing about scooters I can go down the half pipe on it and go up and land a full tail whip and land it. O.k my mum doesn't want me to type any more so bye
