We are now in Emerald...planning to seek our fortune on the gem fields. Wish us luck!
PS: I have tried, with no luck to change the posting times on this blog as they are not accurate. If anyone can tell me what to do, please do. Meanwhile, this means that sometimes it says the wrong day too. Quite often, in fact. Today is THURSDAY :)

Hi there, me here,
ReplyDeleteYes we have had a very wet week and now it is very very cold. I had a lovely time away at Hanmer, but as Rachel said it wasn't quite the same without you. I'm keen for an August trip if you are. We have two challenges planned, a small one for Xmas but a longer one that kicks off in August so if you want details just ask or phone me! You may want to have an extra excuse to visit the quilt shops. I've made the assumption that you would want to to be in on the challenge.
We've been busy on the BoT, in the last 7 days we've had three meetings and a social outing! Hope you have sunny skies, warm breezes and find some good surf. Love from all the Howes to all the Caddies.
Hi there!
ReplyDeleteHave you been at Rainbow Beach? Seems to be amazing! So looking forward following you virtually! Love Heide

Hey you guys, wow what an amazing time you are having. We at Clarkville are al very jealous of all the incredible opportunities you are having, Rosa and Finn, it is fabulous to read about all the new things you have experienced and now have amazing knowledge about. Who needs school eh!? Glad to hear that family relations are still positive and productive, I can imagine that the stress of constant change and decision making might take it's toll a little on marital communications hee hee! All is well at Clarkville, but we miss you! We're glad your trip is going well. Keep safe and enjoy!

Hey guys - thanks for all your comments - so nice to get news from a couple of newbies too! Very much appreciated! Although we are having a blast, we all have our times of missing things at home - and most of those 'things' are people!- so all your messages are encouraging, welcome and valued by all Caddie Cruisers!

ReplyDeleteMorena whanau! WET, WET, WET here for days and days! We have the fire pumping and rain coats well used. Blair and I have had a few wee jam sessions on the ukes! so now know a few chords and wish i had a beautiful singing voice. Perhaps i need to look at those lessons guaranteed to teach anyone to sing! Anyway we all looking forward to seeing you when you return for uke playing, surfing and pot belly times. Yes Mac and Blair went out for a surf yesterday, rest of us thought they were mad but they came back with smiles on their faces and freezing toes! Great hearing all of your news, sounds like Australia is a great place to tour with something for everyone - enjoy every minute of it. We are all enjoying our long weekend and counting down the weeks until the end of term. Look forward to seeing you all next month! aroha nui mckenzie sheat whanau
