Go the All Whites! Out, but not down...nice effort! Luckily Aussies out too so all in the same boat there.
The weather is uncooperative at the moment so we are spending time travelling south in the hope that we will have a few nice days at a surfing beach before meeting other Caddie family members at the Gold Coast next weekend.
We stayed a night in Ayr and then back to a familiar spot at Airlie Beach last night. We had a lovely time yesterday at a waterfall near here. Dry, and not running, but inhabited by turtles, which we fed.
Off inland (north of McKay) to meet some platypus we hope...

Hello dear Caddies!
ReplyDeleteWhat a time in your life! Maybe the time of your life? And again I have to recognize and to note how time flies, eventhough it seems to stand still when you are present and aware at the same time. I remember: when you return to Kaiapoi again, my summer holidays will start and so it is! I have still left 1 1/2 week to teach, with three concerts and some celebrations...I will soon add some pics on my FB account. Well, I wish you more great days and that you'll feel rich and happy beeing home again, when the time will come! Lots of love Heide & Karl Alexander PS: He is playing music today at a "Buschenschank" (saxofon, keybord and accordeon...) the little summer-events have started in Austria!
Hikeep doing this -comment on old posts! have just posted on the 13th after the snake photos!
ReplyDeleteHey there! Remember us, your staff at Waltham are going on holiday and can't wait for you to to come back and have to work for your money!!!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your last days of freedom and it won't be long and the buck stops with you. HaHa.
PS We have locked you out of your office so please ring the Acting Principal!
Hi Heide! I am already jealous of your summer - and I cannot admit that I've had a winter yet! Enjoy the beginning of your holidays - it is always the best bit, I think!
ReplyDeleteOK< Rachel, will check out the old post...I think I am going to enjoy reading this blog properly at home. The clock always seems to be toicking loudly in my ear here!
Happy Holidays, Waltham Crew! Gordy is looking forward to seeing you all :)
